Crail Harbor Gallery and Tearoom

We spent a little time looking at the booths at the street market this morning.
There were several with tempting offerings for this crafty lady
but Howe Crafti won my heart - and my cash!
This clever lady makes purses out of kilts!  And she does so with brilliant results!
Some even have a surprise under the kilt!
She also makes many other items - flasks, neck wraps, brooches - just so much
to look at and so difficult to choose!
She was so much fun to chat with and I think we'd become good
friends if I lived here!  I'm excited to share the gifts I bought!

Just as we finished up the market it started to rain.
Luckily, we were right around the corner from the Crail Harbor Gallery and Tearoom which I had been wanting to try.  I'd say many of the people in the area had the same idea and, as it's already a tiny space, finding a table looked hopeless.  Alas, we were able to find a space out on the terrace.
There's a very large patio umbrella that covers the tables and offered protection from the rain for most.
My bum got a little damp but not so much that it dampened the experience!
The view to be had was just so perfect!

It wasn't really cold, but soup just seemed to be the thing to order.
Of their offerings, I chose a Thai Chicken Soup, served with a chunk of yummy bread!
For dessert a warmed Chocolate Cake which was delicious - I just wish the restaurants would stop pouring Hershey syrup over top of everything that is chocolate.  It cheapens it, I feel, when I know they are aiming at enhancing the dish.

All in all, it was a lovely experience and I would definitely go back again!
